The Mini Bottle Club was founded in 1979 by a
group of collectors with the aim of furthering the hobby by the mutual
sharing of information and swapping of miniatures. Word spread and
this group of friends expanded into what is probably the world's best
mini bottle club.
Over four hundred members from
27 different countries has shown that collecting mini-bottles
is a hobby enjoyed throughout the world.
Before the creation of The Mini
Bottle Club, collecting miniatures was a lonely hobby.
Technology was very basic; there was not the widespread use
of e-mail, fax and the internet as we know today.
